Other Projects by Dr. Emily Teck AKA Miss Emily
Looking to provide a joyful Jewish experience to your community? Think a ‘Miss Emily’ program might be a good fit? Let’s talk about it!
“We hired Emily to be the musician-in-residence at a family retreat and she was fantastic. Her energy and enthusiasm come from a wealth of both Judaic and child-centered expertise, and her musical moments were a true highlight of our event. Emily is great to work with, and inspiring to sing with. 10/10 would hire again!”
Director of Year-Round Programs at URJ Greene Family Camp
Dr. Teck allowed us to holistically reflect upon what we do well as a congregation in terms of young family engagement, and provided concrete suggestions that have allowed us to enhance our programming and reach a wider scope. I greatly appreciated the time she spent into planning and preparing for the weekend, as well as taking the time to follow up with us and provide further feedback. She challenged us to think about our “sacred cows,” and determine what reasonable steps can be taken to allow our young families to feel more comfortable at our congregation. Furthermore, her unique skill set provided opportunities for us to think about what prayer experiences look like for our elementary-school aged students and their parents. She is versatile, hard working, and truly shows her heart in everything she does.
Rabbi Educator, Congregation Shir Hadash
Emily helped me identify what she called ‘opportunities for growth’ and then I scheduled a follow video-chat consult. She has been able to find relatively simple solutions to what I thought were going to be pretty significant challenges. Our meetings have been far more supportive and enthusiastic than other professional development endeavors I’ve experienced.”
“Emily is quite simply impressive. 🌟 Her depth of knowledge of all things Jewish and early childhood development is immense. Her music presentations are engaging, developmentally appropriate, easy going and so fun. 🎶 She makes every single person in attendance feel welcomed and valued. 😊Thank you for a wonderful positive experience! 💜” – Stephanie Quinto, Parent and Program Participant
